Motorist casualties in the City of London: 2007
This map shows the location of accidents in 2007, which resulted in a casualty to a road user other than a pedal cyclist or a pedestrian, including passengers, drivers and motor cyclists. The lack of concentration around Bank is markedly different to the map for pedestrians and cyclists. You can zoom and scroll around the map.
Each Icon represents the location of a single road accident which resulted in casualty to a motorist or passenger in a motor vehicle, including motor cycles in the City of London in 2007. The map was produced by Ted Reilly based on data provided by Department for Transport. Road Accident Statistics Branch, Road Accident Data, 2007 [computer file]. Colchester, Essex: UK Data Archive [distributor], September 2008. SN: 6022.
I am indebted to Mike Williams for his excellent Google Maps API Tutorial and for the slabs of his code, which I have shamelessly stolen.
